De Ambrosi's Stunning Diamond Emerald Mother of Pearl Flower Brooch

Similar to a beguiling underwater flower, this mysterious De Ambrosi Diamond Emerald Mother of Pearl Flower Brooch, made in Italy in the 21st century, circa 2010s, features fluid organic forms, and a lovely sensual style reminiscent of Art Nouveau (1890-1914). The double pin stem brooch is crafted in 18K white gold, set with 5 iridescent mother-of-pearl petals with an estimated weight of 4.50 carats which flow around the symmetrical design with the dynamism of a pinwheel. This glorious movement is driven by five elegant scrollwork shapes which spin out from the center, embellished with white round brilliant-cut pavé diamonds with an estimated weight of 3.95 carats. These sparkling curves overlay the left edge of each petal and create excitement that sparkles brilliantly.

Each lustrous teardrop-shaped petal is punctuated at the point where it emanates, with 5 smaller domed teardrops embellished with round pavé sparkling emeralds weighing approximately 1.30 carats. Juxtaposing the supple surface of the white mother-of-pearl against the harder sparkle of white diamonds not only creates a formal push and pull but also creates the illusion that the petals are being blown in the breeze, exposing a remarkable detail that borders on electrifying.
