This unique pair of Contemporary Diamond Pavé Diamond Cluster Drop Earrings, by Spectra Fine Jewelry in the 21st century, celebrates both the artistry of the diamond composition and the unique sparkle of the diamond itself. The earrings are crafted in 18K yellow gold and set with mixed-cut white diamonds with an estimated weight of 1.59 carats. The sleek geometric arrangement of stones looks like ultra-stylized flowers, where the petals are comprised of 8 marquise diamonds with an estimated weight of 1.09 carats and the floral centers are represented by two princess-cut diamonds with an estimated weight of 0.11 carats. In addition, twenty-six round brilliant pavé diamonds with an estimated weight of 0.13 carat add to the sparkling presentation in single delicate rows adorning the earring wires. Interpreted in another way, the earrings are creatively set as a pair of staggeringly large trompe l’oeil round diamonds. Princess-cut diamonds have as many facets as round brilliants (58) but are not as standardized and can be cut for bold flashes of light or smoldering scintillation. They make for fabulous center sparkle that could rival any colossally sized round.
